One for the books! AUTEC Sushi Robots were invited earlier this month to participate at an exclusive event held by Summit in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. Summit creates unparalleled experiences and fosters a global community of entrepreneurs, academics, athletes, artists, astronauts, authors, chefs, engineers, explorers, philanthropists, spiritual leaders, scientists, and beyond through series of invitation-only gatherings. During the 3-day experience at Summit LA18, speakers like former Vice President Al Gore, Creator of SiriusXM Martine Rothblatt, Former Chairman and CEO of Starbucks Howard Schultz, Chef and owner of The Bazaar Jose Andres, Co-Founder of Creative Artists Agency (CAA) Michael Ovits and CSO of Sustainability at Google Kate Brandt lead talks to share their knowledge and on thought leadership. We had the wonderful opportunity to introduce our sushi robots and their abilities for their late-night events.
At the 2-night event, our team served traditional nigiri sushi with Salmon and Yellowtail Tuna freshly flown in from Japan by California Fish and prepped through DTLA’s Art and Fish that’s wrapped in a high-end Japanese nori by Yamamotoyama. For our vegan friends, we created a gluten-free spicy tofu and sweet potato sushi by RICE that’s wrapped in the same Yamamotoyama nori. Ofcourse all the nigiri riceballs for the sushi were created by our sushi robot 410 with rice flown in from Japan courtesy of JFC.
